Below is a general price guide for common alterations offered at Rags and Mends. Prices may vary depending on fabric, garment construction, and condition. Final quotes are provided after assessment.
Hemming (Shortening the length of pants or jeans) - 25$
Original Hem (Common for worn jeans to keep the vintage look after shortening) - 35$
Waist Adjustment (Taking in the waist of pants or jeans or letting it out) With my method, this modification won't be noticeable afterwards. - 65$
Lengthening (Adding fabric to a sleeve or pant leg to make it longer) This method requires extra material so price is subject to change. - 50$
Tapering/Re-shaping (Making the pants or jeans slimmer or however you want) - 35$
Single Stitch Hem (Common for vintage t-shirt to keep the single stitch after shortening) - 35$
